Just read this poem to my boys. You captured it perfectly….how we belong together. I was smiling when I saw your poem….felt like it was meant to be for you to share your poem today because we had an interesting discussion earlier this morning about plants (i.e..what would happen if there were no plants.) 🙂
Hi Laney! WOW–this makes me smile! What a wonderful conversation that must’ve been with your kiddos! I’m so honored I could be a part of it in some way! 🙂 I’m sending you all a big hug & hope we can catch up more in person when I’m back in the US one of these days! Maybe we can all go hiking and hug some trees too 🙂
Happy International Day of Forests! I’m headed out for a hike; but before I go, thought I’d share this poem and photo from a hike last year through Germany’s Black Forest.
May we re-learn to honor, love, respect & cherish our most treasured symbiotic ally on the planet…
A little meditation on symbiosis and being…Happy Monday!
P.S. – I had a great weekend wandering the Black Forest :)
