RING – By ElizaBeth Coira

I think I’ll look
At the world like a tree

From way up here
The world’s not
                        Right
                        Or wrong

                        With us
                        Against us

                        Us
                        Versus them

                        He
                              She
                                      They
                        All busy bopping heads

Pitter
           Patter
Crawl up tiny ants

Flitter
            Flutter
As only birds can

Breathing
                    Whispers
Tickles of the wind

Grasping
                  Attaching
Mossy little friends

And no matter
How much hot air is spewed

We can clean it up
With our Being

‘Til we all
                   Fall
                           Down
