One Peace
Many paths
The wind whispered
Through the trees
The birds sang
Our hearts rang
One with Love
Home again

It was my great honor to contribute this poem to the efforts of Spokane non-profit, One Peace Many Paths, for their 2016 Global Art Project for Peace. We convened this past Monday evening to play and create for peace; developing a collage book expressing our visions for global peace and goodwill. Our gift of global friendship will be exchanged with a participating community in Malaysia; under the auspices of the non-profit, Global Art Project for Peace. How exciting to take part, along with thousands of other people, to send messages of peace around the world, simultaneously! 

The workshop was truly an invigorating evening of camaraderie and creativity; facilitated by renowned Spokane artist Connie Janney.  Many thanks to One Peace Many Paths founders, Joan and Henry Broeckling, for the invitation to contribute an original poem capturing the spirit of our efforts, to grace our gift book’s cover! I hope you too will enjoy the poem!
