Shall I cross
To the great vast unknown
Take the next uncertain step
What if all I long for awaits
What if it all has been with me always
Time will order all things as it must
No longer my enslaver or enemy
No that was me
What I once chose as life
Thank god I woke up
I nearly missed this time
Hope you’ll enjoy this piece, with a photo from one of my favorite fall hikes near Dilofo, Greece (close to the border with Albania)…truly felt like we had skipped outside of time, courtesy of this beatiful, ancient space
Love both the poem and the picture!
Many thanks!
