MANY THANKS to all of you who have purchased and read my gift book, SENDING YOU MY LOVE – Little Thoughts on Life and Love! Your 2016 purchases have allowed me to make donations to help children in great need in both Sri Lanka and South Africa– from all of us!

Through one of my favorite international aid organizations, Project COLORS,  girls living in a Sri Lankan children’s home will have the opportunity to attend school. And toddlers in South Africa will receive critical, immune-boosting nutrition to save their lives. To find out more about Project COLORS and these specific programs, please click any of the blue, linked text.

New Feb 2017 Workshops! Loving You~Loving Life~Tapping the Well Within

new-for-2017_reclaim-love-this-valentines-day
loving-you-loving-life_well-within-workshop-with-elizabeth-coira

Love comes in so many forms, through so many teachers, and is unconditionally Yours. What if I told You all the Love You could ever need rests not outside, but rather right within You? Could You embrace this Love, this possibility in Your own life, as a simple idea and guide?

Join writer, poet, photographer, and facilitator ElizaBeth Coira for a loving, creative approach to self-discovery, goal-planning, and authentic artistic self-expression. Honor Your intuition, re-align priorities, and nurture the essential You with the Love that blooms brightest. Through artistic play and reflection, we’ll invite our hearts, heads, and spirits to come into a greater sense of balance; clearing out the clutter to witness the wisdom pulsing through each of us…stemming from our very own beautiful sense of wellness and Love within.

Are You ready to explore, envision, and embrace those whispers of Love, Joy, Wisdom, and Guidance welling up in You?

Celebrate! Life & Times at Loon Lake, WA – By ElizaBeth Coira – Jan/Feb 2017

~ Please enjoy my column for the Jan/Feb 2017 edition of the Loon Lake Times newspaper ~

loon-lake_winter-2017_elizabeth-coira_homegrownsojourner

As the great wintery blanket of white and gray envelopes existence here at Loon Lake, I find my days brightened by the parades of wild turkey, quail, and deer roaming the snowy streets. I am cheered by the bald eagles circling the lake, on the lookout for a critical meal and sturdy nesting materials. I am thrilled to celebrate with neighbors, sharing in the joy of the season. And I am awed at the sight of snow-covered pines, stretching as far as the eye can see.

I am thankful for the gifts life has issued in my first year residing at Loon Lake… Continue reading

NEW YEAR – By ElizaBeth Coira

Cheers!

ElizaBeth Coira - The Home Grown Sojourner

New Year_ElizaBeth Coira_HomeGrownSojourner

Can we Love
Without the weight
Of worry
guilt
control
and fury

Can we soar
Without the cage
Of hate
and fear
Please tell me
Dear

What is it
We’ve been doing
Playing at
Through the years

Though it’s been done
By so many
For so long
As we awake

Today
New choices
Await us

They are
Sun-ripened
Ready
For picking

I think I’ll walk
A while
wander
Roll around
Bask
In the glow

Of All
New day
New year
Possibilities

Let’s wait
No more
To embrace
Weightless
