What’s your Valentine’s Day wish? I’m wishing on Love… a higher, wider sense of Love… to be our guide…for People…for Planet…for Peace.

We Need You ~ In It For The Good

Today is my birthday. I am profoundly thankful for the kind messages of genuine friendship from around our beautiful planet. I am profoundly thankful for the gentle and sustaining rains here around my home in eastern Washington (USA), soothing and healing the landscape in the aftermath of area wildfires, though some are still burning. I am profoundly thankful for the gifts of my people, the exquisite Love I am privileged to witness and experience, receive and share, feel and know. And I am profoundly thankful for each and every one of you out there, doing what you can, being from the brilliant truth of who you are, getting through each day…and in the often-wearying process still trying to bring about some kind of goodness in this world, some kind of light, in ways big and small.

Today, on this day gifted with healing rains and bright friendships, I share with you my favorite prayer-poem and hope for humanity…paired with a photo of one of my favorite places to hike, the Isle of Skye, in a land of some of my ancestors, Scotland. Cheers to the curious sojourn of life! And please don’t forget, we need all of you…this planet…humanity…we need you…in it for the Good…this lifetime around.

The Reckoning ~ By ElizaBeth Coira

In this season of climate catastrophe…and overwhelming loss and sorrow…how can we find better, more sustainable ways of being…in balance and harmony with all of creation? My heart goes out to all of those suffering, scarred, and lost in this season of extraordinary trauma. My heart tells me we will and must find those better ways…sooner…together.

Could Love be Powerful? Kindness Wise? This new year I invite you, me, all of us to step into our Strength and Collective Light. Together we can find and create those better ways, aligned to our higher potential, for ourselves, our families, our communities, our planet. What do you feel is the next Loving step for you?

What Have You Enabled ~ By ElizaBeth Coira

Humanity is incarcerated, wounded, bleeding in the absence of social, racial, and environmental justice.

To those who have felt that racism isn’t a deal-breaker, misogyny isn’t a deal-breaker, homophobia isn’t a deal-breaker, destruction of the environment isn’t a deal-breaker, disregard for human health isn’t a deal-breaker, human rights violations isn’t a deal-breaker…What have you become? What have you enabled?

Your higher sense of humanity misses you. It’s time to awaken from the hate, fear, hurt, confusion. We’re ready to welcome you back with open arms. It’s time to come home to Love.

Wild Truth ~ By ElizaBeth Coira

In these difficult times, may we dream, incubate, and ultimately choose new and better ways, out of the blind consumerism that has blanketed our beautiful planet in pollution and desecration of all kinds. In the midst of of this planetary pause, may we recall the pleasure of simpler ways, in harmony, in balance with the gifts all around. Happy Beltane.
