We Need You ~ In It For The Good

Today is my birthday. I am profoundly thankful for the kind messages of genuine friendship from around our beautiful planet. I am profoundly thankful for the gentle and sustaining rains here around my home in eastern Washington (USA), soothing and healing the landscape in the aftermath of area wildfires, though some are still burning. I am profoundly thankful for the gifts of my people, the exquisite Love I am privileged to witness and experience, receive and share, feel and know. And I am profoundly thankful for each and every one of you out there, doing what you can, being from the brilliant truth of who you are, getting through each day…and in the often-wearying process still trying to bring about some kind of goodness in this world, some kind of light, in ways big and small.

Today, on this day gifted with healing rains and bright friendships, I share with you my favorite prayer-poem and hope for humanity…paired with a photo of one of my favorite places to hike, the Isle of Skye, in a land of some of my ancestors, Scotland. Cheers to the curious sojourn of life! And please don’t forget, we need all of you…this planet…humanity…we need you…in it for the Good…this lifetime around.
