PLANTING TULIPS – By ElizaBeth Coira

Planting Tulips By ElizaBeth Coira

Sickness is
To subjugate
Persecute
Pollute
Fill with hate

One self
One life
Society
The fate you lay
Comes back to play

Reminders in
Our finger prints
The world goes round
And back again

Tulips all
Need light to grow
Blossom
Flourish
Grace the world

May the sickened
Shadowed ones
Rest
Renew
In earth’s embrace

Recall the light
The purpose
Promise

LOVE

Twirling
Swirling
Through our roots
